SME Benefits distinguishes itself as an organization that promotes health in SMEs, which mediates between content providers and selected potential customers based on a process-oriented analysis and a scientific protocol.
SME Benefits has developed a Absenteeism Intervention Methodology for SMEs. 70% of Dutch workforce is contracted in SME's, but the useful application of a healthy policy in SMEs are often not recognized.
SME benefits is capable to enter the SME's, and convince businesses of the good work of health policies. They do this by providing insight in absenteeism costs.
SME Benefits as a good health policy for their own as well. A system of coaching is set up, employees are regularly examined to prevent burnout and they join in sports. SME benefits in 2003 is therefore nationally and internationally rewarded Model of Good Practice.

The audit report of Unilever Netherlands, and Unilever Corporate Centre Rotterdam, the international headquarters that recites partly in London, stated the health activities of Unilever are clear and well placed in a quality system. This system has regular internal audits and is based on solid data collection and systematically updated. All employees (approximately 1350) are well informed and there is a high satisfaction rate . The stakes are high, staff turnover and absenteeism low (2.3%). Unilever's corporate culture, among other things stated as we prefer to work with nine colleagues in a sensible way than with ten with staff difficulties.

Waterland Hospital

The Waterland Hospital in Purmerend intent to be more than a good organization for patients and staff. It does it for years now, but this effort has a momentary dip by external causes (budget cuts). Now the focus on people's healths is back in focus, according to a conclusion in the audit report, the Dutch Centre for WHP. Although there are some reservations, the level of health is such that the award for Model of Good Practice is rightly.

The Hague

The Facility Department of The Hague City Council, is recognises MOGP due to the  excellent social and health policies that led to a good working atmosphere and a low staff turnover. Despite the fact that the workload has increased in recent years and the organization has become more rational, the employee workloads is good due to the large freedom degrees in task interpretation and opportunities for personal development. The masurment led to higher productivity, the mutual communication is highly regarded. To continu this a special project named "cooperation" is established.

Ministery of Finance

The Ministry of Finance, is recognised MOGP due to a consistent approach of health promotion at all levels, constant attention and ensure good communication about it. The Department with its 1824 employees including 36% women and a relatively high percentage of young graduates below 35 years, has a "feel-good fit-in" culture.
Among staff members a lot of sports is done (running) and a lot of colleagues are cycle commuters. The Department has a gym with various sports facilities. Over one quarter of the staff is more than once a week active in the fitnessroom. The ministry pays for preventive medical staff examinations and bares in many cases the cost of medical fitness.
The Ministry itself has a number of targets on issues such as absenteeism, RSI, burn-out, smoking, occupational disabilities and rehabilitation. Attempt is also to offer easy accessible activities for all staff to encourage healthy behavior. Absenteeism fell from 5.9 in 2001 to 5.0%, one of the lowest rates among the governmental bodies.
